The Maharashi Dayanand University (MDU) is an older and a public type University located in the city of Rohtak, Haryana, India. The University named was given in the honor of a saint Dayanand Saraswati. The University was established in the year 1976 with the objective to promote interdisciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. The Univeristy has provided higher education to the students in the state. The university is approved by the UGC, BCI and AICTE. The university has covered a large area of the Haryana state. Every year the university offers many different courses for the under graduation, post graduation and doctoral levels. Many colleges are affiliated with the university. Every year many thousands of students take admission in the various courses provided by the university. The University also provides the Distance education to the students. This year the Univeristy Distance education written examination was successfully conducted. Now the University will soon announce the MDU Distance education Results 2013.
