The KSWD is known also as a Karnataka Social Welfare Department. The Karnataka Social Welfare Department is planning to offer Vidyasiri scholar programs for backward classes students. Those interested students who belong to backward classes can apply online from the official website its www.backwardclasses.kar.nic.in. The Karnataka Social Welfare Department invites online application forms on the official website from 01st October. The Karnataka government will pay a stipend of Rs 1500 to students, who chose to reside on their own instead of opting for hostels, under Vidyasiri scheme. The stipend Rs. 1500 would be paid through EPASS (Electronic Payment System of Scholarships) and stipend amount will transfer directly to the student bank account. So, all Karnataka backward classes Students can apply online for Vidyasiri students Scholarships from Oct 1st at www.backwardclasses.kar.nic.in.
