The  Ministry of Minority Affairs Government of India gives the every year 20000 scholarships will be distributed among the students of minority communities throughout the country. Based on the state wise population of the communities. The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses. Its motive is to get a degree or post graduate level technical and professional course from recognized university. These scholarships are available for studies in India only and will be awarded through an Agency designated by the State Government/UT Administration for this purpose. Mama Scholarship Scheme has two Types Of Scholarship for Minority students following as: (1)  Post Matric Scholarship or grant: - The Scholarship was introduced for the collage candidates means it is provided at the college level. And the main aim for this scholarship is to provide higher education to the poor students. The Candidate must have scored 50% marks in the previous exam and Overall Annual income of 2 Lakh INR should be the maximum from all resources while BPL candidates having the lowest earnings will be preferred. (2) Means cum Merit MOMA Scholarship Scheme:- This scholarship scheme is based on a test. The Candidate must have 50% marks in the previous exam and should not exceed 2.5 Lakhs annual incomes. Now Interested candidates can apply online through the official website. Only two students belonging to the same family will be benefited from this scheme.
